JREW Engineering – Company Milestones
Below are some of the important milestones achieved by JREW since its formation in 1973.
Foundation Year
Began operations as a Bright Bar Manufacturer with our first production unit in Chandigarh. This marked the beginning of our engineering journey in precision manufacturing.
1973
TRACTOR COMPONENTS
Ventured into Fabricated components for Tractors.
1980
Entry into Mast Profiles
Developed Special Mast Profiles for material handling applications, taking a step forward in industrial innovation and specialized steel products.
1987
Entry into Construction Equipment
Diversified into construction equipment manufacturing with the development of Steel Profiles for Backhoe Loaders (BHL). This expanded our product base and market reach.
1992
INCORPORATED AS PUBLIC LIMITED COMPANY
Incorporated as a Public Limited Company having stronghold in Material Handling and Construction Equipment components.
1994
Foray into Non-OEM Components
Introduced Forged Hooks and Forks for the aftermarket segment, marking our entry into non-OEM component manufacturing and offering cost-effective alternatives.
1998
Establishment of Second Unit (Mohali)
Set up a second production unit in Mohali to meet increasing demand and improve serviceability across Northern India.
2001
Expansion into NCR (Faridabad Unit)
Commissioned a third unit in Faridabad, strategically positioned to serve OEMs in the National Capital Region and support growth in the construction equipment space.
2007
Entry into Export Markets
Started Precision Machined Component Exports to Germany, establishing our presence in international markets and emphasizing our focus on quality and global standards.
2010
Operational Merger (Chandigarh & Mohali)
Merged the Chandigarh and Mohali plants into a single, streamlined facility. This consolidation improved efficiency, reduced duplication, and brought operations under one roof.
2013
Product Line Expansion: Attachments
Launched a full range of Attachments for BHLs, Telehandlers, and Skid-Steer Loaders, enhancing our value proposition for OEMs and the construction industry.
2014
SPECIAL ATTACHMENTS
Started design and manufacture of multiple Special Attachments for Construction Equipment Industry.
2015
STAKON Brand Launch (Electric Stackers)
Entered the electric mobility and warehouse automation segment with STAKON, our in-house brand for electric stackers and material handling equipment.
2016
Major Infrastructure Expansion (Faridabad)
Significantly expanded our Faridabad facility (up to 60,000 sq. ft. based on records), introducing modern equipment, enhancing capacity, and reducing lead times for large-scale orders.
2019
Establishment of 3rd Unit (C-97, Mohali)
Commissioned the third independent unit at C-97, Mohali,, dedicated exclusively to the STAKON line. This plant supports high-precision assembly and electric equipment manufacturing.
2022
Launch of 4th Unit (Faridabad)
Established a fourth manufacturing unit in Faridabad. Designed as a feeder plant, this facility handles component pre-processing and supports the main Faridabad unit in achieving operational efficiency.
