Below are some of the important milestones achieved by JREW since its formation in 1973.
THE FIRST STEP
Started as a Bright Bar manufacturer at Chandigarh catering to OEMs for Tractors such as Swaraj (now Mahindra), Eicher, HMT etc.
1973
TRACTOR COMPONENTS
Ventured into Fabricated components for Tractors.
1980
VENTURED INTO MATERIAL HANDLING INDUSTRY
Entered into Material Handling Industry by developing Special Mast Profiles for Forklift Trucks of PTL (Swaraj).
1987
ENTRY INTO EARTH MOVING INDUSTRY
Diversified into Earth Moving Industry and developed Special Steel Profile for JCB’s Backhoe Loader as an import substitute.
1992
INCORPORATED AS PUBLIC LIMITED COMPANY
Incorporated as a Public Limited Company having stronghold in Material Handling and Construction Equipment components.
1994
PRECISION COMPONENTS FOR VIBRATORY COMPACTORS
Developed precision components for Vibratory Compactors and Hydra Cranes of Escorts. These components mainly include the inner parts of Drum and Forged Hooks of varied capacities from 1MT to 25MT as per Indian Standards for the Hydra Cranes.
1998
NEW MANUFACTURING UNIT AT MOHALI
Established a Manufacturing unit at Mohali having floor area of 30,000 sq.ft with heavy investment in plant equipment, utilities and automation. This unit capitalized the steep growth in production of Axles for JCB and complete Mast Assemblies of Forklifts for some of the country’s leading companies like Godrej & Voltas.
2001
ANOTHER MANUFACTURING UNIT AT FARIDABAD
Established another Manufacturing unit at Faridabad, essentially to accomplish ‘Just In Time’ inventory of fully assembled Front Axles for JCB, Leeboy, Escorts.
2007
PRECISION MACHINED COMPONENTS
Entered into a new venture for exporting precision machined components to Germany. Enhanced the manufacturing capacity at Faridabad unit with additional 30,000 sq.ft Floor Area.
2010
STAKON
JREW launched its new venture STAKON with focus on manufacturing a range of Electric Stackers for warehousing industry and general storage requirements.
2013
SPECIAL ATTACHMENTS
Started design and manufacture of multiple Special Attachments for Construction Equipment Industry.
2015
ELECTRIC STACKER
Introduced an Electric Stacker under the brand name of STAKON
2016
SHOP EXPENSION
Expanded the shop floor area in our Faridabad Unit to 60000 sq. ft.
2019
MANUFACTURING UNIT IN MOHALI
Established 4th Manufacturing unit at Mohali for STAKON
2022
MANUFACTURING UNIT IN FARIDABAD
Established a 5th Manufacturing unit in Faridabad
